PLC在某機械手控制系統中的組成如下：

1、輸入單元
輸入單元由8個按扭、8個開關和16個接插件組成，它們分別與PLC的16個輸入點相接。改變這些開關或按扭的通斷狀態，即可對主機輸入所需要的開關量。16個接插件可外接其它直流或開關量輸入信號。
2、輸出單元
輸出單元由24個二極管和24個接插件組成，它們分別與PLC的24個輸出點相連。發光二極管是否發光，即可表示輸出點的狀態，使用者可得到主機的輸出信息。24個輸出接插件可外接其它需要控制的設備。輸出單元的4個地端，分別引出到面板，其中只有C4與3V電源共地。
3、電源單元
PLC主機左邊有外接220V/AV的電源插座，作為PLC的工作電源。內裝變壓器，輸出3V電源，供二極管使用。另外PLC的24VDC和24GND已引出到面板，供外接輸入器件（如傳感器）的工作電源用.
