箱體采用SMC模壓材料或不銹鋼鋼板的封閉結構形式。SMC箱體采用模壓結構，不銹鋼箱體采用三明治式雙層結構。本標準給出的箱體尺寸為參考尺寸。門通過鉸鏈結構連接，門可自由開合5000次不損壞。門鎖應為防盜結構，具有良好的抗破壞性，應符合中華人民共和國公共安全行業標準GA/T 73-94 機械防盜鎖規定。
（2）光纜從箱體的底座進纜孔進出。箱體留有相對獨立的進出線孔，孔洞數量應滿足滿配時的需求。
（3）96芯、144芯光纜交接箱采用單面左開門結構，288芯、576芯雙面光纜交接箱采用單面右開門操作結構；576芯單面光纜交接箱采用單面*門操作結構。576芯單面*門操作結構中，應設有水平走纖槽道，以便于水平走纖的管理和維護。
（4）光纜交接箱配有密封膩子，以便于線纜引入孔處的密封，防止水和嚙齒類動物進入機箱。密封膩子應高溫不流淌，低溫不凝固，遇到潮氣會膨脹，切實達到密封要求。

箱體結構

12芯熔配一體化托盤為左、右出纖可調節設計，滿足外纜的熔接、尾纖的存貯、跳纖終端等功能。本系列機架采用左出纖模式。托盤熔接盤、終端盤材料采用阻燃ABS、顏色為PANTONE 3405U，蓋板材料采用阻燃ABS、顏色為PANTONE 427U。
